Zandile Dabula leaves Operation Dudula for ActionSA ahead of 2026 elections
Anti-illegal migration activist Zandile Dabula has officially joined ActionSA ahead of the 2026 local government elections, strengthening the party’s focus on housing, service delivery and illegal immigration issues in Gauteng.
Anti-illegal migration activist Zandile Dabula has officially joined ActionSA as the party ramps up preparations for the 2026 local government elections.
Dabula recently resigned as president of Operation Dudula following internal disputes within the organisation. She has now been appointed to ActionSA’s Johannesburg campaign team, where she will focus on Human Settlements issues.
Speaking about her new role, Dabula said her decision was motivated by a desire to improve the lives of residents.
“This is not about power. It’s about changing the lived realities of our residents,” she said.
ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba welcomed Dabula’s move, describing it as an important addition to the party’s campaign efforts in Gauteng.
Her appointment is expected to strengthen ActionSA’s messaging around service delivery, housing challenges and illegal immigration issues that have become central to political debates in the province ahead of next year’s elections.
