The South African Police Service has conducted another search at the Pretoria North residence of Sergeant Fannie Nkosi as part of an ongoing investigation linked to allegations raised at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
The South African Police Service has conducted a second search and seizure operation (J51) at the Pretoria North residence of Sergeant Fannie Nkosi as part of an ongoing investigation.
Police confirmed on Thursday, 2 April 2026, that the latest raid forms part of continuing investigations into the matter.
Nkosi, who serves in the Gauteng Organised Crime Unit, has been a key figure at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, which is probing allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption within the criminal justice system. During his testimony, he was questioned about alleged connections to Vusumuzi Matlala.
In a previous raid in October 2025, authorities reportedly found a credit card linked to Matlala, along with more than R385,000 in cash stored in a safe at Nkosi’s home.
Investigations remain ongoing, with further developments expected.
