Zuma suspends Ndhlela from MK Party
Former President Jacob Zuma has suspended Nhlamulo Ndhlela from the MK Party with immediate effect pending an internal investigation into allegations of misconduct and sowing division within the organisation.
Former President and MK Party leader Jacob Zuma has suspended Nhlamulo Ndhlela from the party with immediate effect pending investigation.
In a statement on Tuesday the party said Ndhlela is accused of misconduct, sowing divisions and bringing the party into disrepute.
The decision comes after Zuma announced Sifiso Mahlangu as the party’s new national spokesperson on Monday.
Pending the outcome of the investigation, Ndhlela has been instructed not to represent the party in any official capacity or access any official MK Party social media accounts, public media platforms, bank accounts or digital systems.
He has also been directed to return all party property, including documents, electronic devices, membership cards, passwords and access credentials, to the Office of the Secretary-General within seven days.
