Paul Madubanya appears in court on assault charge
Limpopo musician, Paul Madubanya appears in Pretoria Magistrate's Court, for charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, following a scuffle at Propaganda Night Club where he performed.
Paul Nkgodisheng Madubanya, otherwise known as 'Tsaka RSA', appeared briefly in the Pretoria Magistrates' Court on the 20th of October 2026, where he faces a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
It is alleged that on the 2nd of August 2026 at approximately 03:00 am, the 29 year old had been performing at the Propaganda night club in Pretoria Central where he assaulted a male club-goer by allegedly hitting him with an empty bottle crate several times.
Bouncers at Propaganda intervened, putting an end to the fight and later escorted the parties outside. It is further alleged that Madubanya continued assaulting the man outside until his friends intercepted the fight.
The man later reported the matter to the Pretoria Central Police Station, where police opened a criminal case against Madubanya.
Following police investigations, Madubanya was ultimately arrested on the 19th of October 2026 at the Polokwane Magistrates' Court, where he had been appearing in connection with a separate matter.
The case was postponed to the 27th of October 2026 in order to allow Madubanya to obtain appropriate legal representation and for bail investigations.
