President Cyril Ramaphosa joined millions of congregants at the ZCC Easter pilgrimage in Moria on the final day of the religious gathering.
President Cyril Ramaphosa visited Moria on Sunday as part of the annual Easter pilgrimage hosted by the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) headquarters in Limpopo.
The president was received by His Grace Dr. Joseph Lekganyane, who leads one of the largest churches in southern Africa. He was joined by African National Congress (ANC) Limpopo leadership, led by Provincial Chairperson Phophi Ramathuba.
Sunday marked the final day of the Easter celebrations, which have seen millions of congregants make their way to the holy site in Moria for prayer, reflection and spiritual renewal.
The visit forms part of ongoing engagement between government and religious institutions during major events. The ZCC Easter pilgrimage remains one of the largest religious gatherings in the country, symbolising unity, faith and community among its members.
