EmpowerHER Luncheon returns to inspire women to dream bigger and lead boldly
Ignited Woman Magazine will host the fifth annual EmpowerHER Luncheon on 8 August 2026, bringing together women from business, leadership and entrepreneurship under the theme, For Women Who No Longer Want to Play Small.
As South Africa celebrates Women's Month, Ignited Woman Magazine is set to host the fifth annual EmpowerHER Luncheon on 8 August 2026, creating a platform for women to connect, collaborate and grow.
Held under the theme For Women Who No Longer Want to Play Small, the event will bring together women from the business, corporate, leadership and entrepreneurship sectors to encourage bold leadership and meaningful networking.
Founder of Ignited Woman Magazine, Kamogelo Seekoei, said the EmpowerHER Luncheon has evolved into more than just an annual event, with previous editions helping women build valuable business relationships, find mentors, secure clients and gain confidence to pursue new opportunities.
"Over the past four years, we've seen incredible connections being formed around the EmpowerHER table. Women have found mentors, business partners, collaborators and renewed belief in themselves," Seekoei said.
She added that the 2026 theme encourages women to stop limiting themselves and confidently pursue their ambitions.
"We want every woman who walks into the room to leave believing she belongs in every space she has been called to occupy," she said.
The luncheon is expected to attract entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, business owners and emerging leaders from various industries who are committed to personal and professional development.
Seekoei said that the event forms part of Ignited Woman Magazine's ongoing mission to celebrate and amplify the voices of women making a positive impact across South Africa.
As Women's Month is observed across the country, the EmpowerHER Luncheon aims to highlight the importance of creating opportunities for women to learn, build networks and support one another beyond symbolic celebrations.
