Zulu Royal House dismisses false claims about king’s health
The Office of the Spokesperson to His Majesty the King has dismissed social media claims that the Zulu King was rushed to hospital and admitted to ICU, confirming that he is in good health.
The office of the spokesperson to his majesty the King of the Zulu Nation Misuzulu has rejected reports circulating on social media alleging that the King had been rushed to hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).
In an official statement on Friday, spokesperson Prince Thulani Zulu described the reports as false and misleading. He said his majesty recently visited his physician for a routine medical check-up and remains in good health. The office further confirmed that the King continues to carry out both his official and personal responsibilities as normal.
The royal office appealed to members of the Zulu Nation and the public to remain calm and ignore what it described as malicious falsehoods.
Zulu also urged media houses, journalists, and content creators to verify information before publishing, warning that spreading unverified claims about the King’s health causes unnecessary panic and undermines public trust.
He said the public should rely only on official communications for accurate updates regarding his majesty.
