Fadiel Adams to appear in court over alleged interference in Sindiso Magaqa murder case
National Coloured Congress leader Fadiel Adams is expected to appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Thursday after his arrest in Cape Town over allegations of interfering in the murder investigation of former ANC Youth League secretary-general Sindiso Magaqa.
National Coloured Congress leader Fadiel Adams is set to make his first court appearance on Thursday at the Pinetown Magistrate's Court.
Adams was arrested in Cape Town on Tuesday after allegedly failing to hand himself over to police. He faces charges of defeating the ends of justice in connection with the murder case of Sindiso Magaqa, who was killed in 2017.
Magaqa was shot in July 2017 near Umzimkhulu in KwaZulu-Natal and later died in hospital from his injuries. The case has remained one of the country’s high-profile political murder investigations.
