The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of DJ Boonu, a respected figure in South Africa’s music scene whose real name was Andile Chili.
The Durban-based Gqom DJ and producer built a strong reputation for his unique sound and contribution to the genre. He was best known for popular tracks such as “uSwidi Wodwa,” “Idliso,” and “Abangani Bami,” which resonated with fans across the country.
