The uMkhonto weSizwe Party has paid tribute to Comrade Nkosentsha Shezi, describing him as a dedicated public servant whose legacy will continue to inspire.
The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party) has extended its sincerest condolences to the Shezi family, loved ones, comrades and all those who had the privilege of working alongside Comrade Nkosentsha Shezi during his life of service.
MK Party spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela said in a statement on Monday that Shezi served the people of South Africa with commitment, humility and unwavering loyalty to the cause of social justice and the upliftment of the poor and marginalised.
His presence in Parliament and within the structures of the MK Party was marked by discipline, courage and a deep sense of responsibility to the movement and to the nation.
“We have lost not only a patriot and public servant, but also a comrade whose contribution to the struggle for dignity, equality and transformation will remain etched in the history of our organization. His passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by his colleagues, constituents, friends and family,” said Ndhlela.
“We stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time and pray that they find strength and comfort in the legacy he leaves behind.”
The party said Shezi’s legacy of service and commitment to the people would continue to inspire future generations.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace and may his memory continue to inspire us to serve our people with dedication and integrity.”
