Collen Mashawana Foundation restores dignity with electric wheelchair donation to 81-year-old Limpopo woman
After living with a disability for decades and being forced to crawl around her home, 81-year-old Tshudzu Munyai has received a life-changing electric wheelchair from the Collen Mashawana Foundation.
The Collen Mashawana Foundation (CMF) has donated an electric wheelchair to 81-year-old Tshudzu Munyai, bringing renewed hope and independence to the elderly woman from Chavani Shikuwani in Limpopo.
According to the foundation, Munyai has lived with a disability for decades and had been forced to crawl to move around her home due to her limited mobility.
The donation is expected to significantly improve her quality of life by restoring her ability to move around independently and with dignity.
The foundation said the wheelchair will not only ease Munyai's daily challenges but also provide her with greater freedom and comfort in her later years.
The gesture forms part of the Collen Mashawana Foundation's ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities across South Africa through interventions aimed at improving lives and restoring hope.
