Brown Mogotsi found after alleged Vosloorus attack

Brown Mogotsi has been located, it is believed that the police were taking a statement in the presence of his lawyers, eNCA reported.

Mogotsi claims he escaped a deadly ambush in Vosloorus and now fears for his life. He has been implicated in wrongdoing involving alleged meddling in law enforcement that has led to the suspension of Police Minister Senzo Mchunu. He has also accused Fikile Mbalula and his wife of corruption.

Mogotsi claimed his vehicle was shot at on Monday night. Red Chevrolet with broken windows and what appeared to be bullet holes was found at the scene. However, he failed to pitch at the police station to make a statement on Tuesday.

The timing of the attack is particularly notable. It comes just days before Mogotsi is scheduled to appear at the Adhoc Committee into Police Corruption on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of November.
