ActionSA member Tumi Sole steps back from active politics
ActionSA member Tumi Sole has announced his decision to step away from active politics, saying he will redirect his focus to #CountryDuty, alongside his legal and corporate work.
ActionSA member Tumi Sole has announced that he is stepping back from active political life following what he described as a brief but rewarding chapter in official politics.
Sole said his time campaigning for the people of Johannesburg was a meaningful experience and that he remains grateful for the lessons he gained during his political journey.
“Campaigning for the people of Johannesburg has meant more to me than words can capture,” Sole said.
He also thanked ActionSA for the opportunity to serve and for the trust placed in him during his time with the party.
Going forward, Sole said his focus will shift towards #CountryDuty, alongside his legal and corporate work, where he believes he can continue making a meaningful contribution to the lives of South Africans.
He stressed that stepping away from active politics does not mean he is abandoning public service.
“This is not a goodbye to public service, it is simply a redirection of it, toward where I believe I can do the most good,” he said.
Sole added that his commitment to accountability, good governance and building a better South Africa remains unchanged.
His departure marks a move away from formal party politics, with Sole set to focus on his professional work and broader efforts to serve the public.
