Feroz Khan’s in-camera testimony postponed at Madlanga Commission
Former Crime Intelligence deputy head Feroz Khan will not testify before the Madlanga Commission after a family member was killed in a shooting incident on the R21 in Gauteng.
The Madlanga Commission has postponed the in-camera testimony of former Crime Intelligence deputy head Feroz Khan following the death of a family member in a shooting incident on the R21 in Gauteng on Monday night.
The Commission confirmed that Khan appeared remotely and in-camera before the inquiry on Tuesday morning.
However, Khan was not in a position to testify following the death of his family member in the shooting incident.
The Commission has therefore postponed his testimony to a date that has yet to be determined.
Last month, the commission said it would lay criminal charges against Khan after he failed to appear before the inquiry despite being subpoenaed.
The commission had also rejected his application for a postponement.
